On a rainy Sunday morning, I was lucky to find a good table for Sunday Brunch at Bistro Zinc in Chicago by 10AM. Authentic French cuisine is hard to find and Bistro Zinc has gourmet fare for a gourmand. Anyone craving French Duck Pâté served with a Red Wine Mustard Sauce, Cornichons, and Crostini can certainly make a reservation for a fine French fare at Bistro Zinc. If three (3) Crostini are not enough for one slice of Duck Pâté, feel free to ask for more, “s’il vous plâit”, just to enjoy hors d’oeuvre, before your main entrée. Sunday Brunch can be a three course breakfast for lunch when you order Eggs Benedict over Smoked Salmon with English Muffins, not French ones.

It is better not to forget a French dessert like Mille Feuilles des Cerises Bordeaux au Caramel et Sauce de Vanilla. Excellent pastry to add for a sweet Sunday Brunch at Bistro Zinc.

There is rumour around Chi-town that Bistro Zinc is closing its restaurant business at the end of August 2018. It is a memorable experience to visit and dine at the French Bistro Zinc by the open door windows facing State Street near Elm Street, across Barnes and Noble Bookstore. Be sure to make your Bistro Zinc reservation before the end of August 2018. Enjoy a fine French dining experience at Bistro Zinc. Bon appétit!
