Labor Day on the first day of September 1, 2014 reminds me how I have worked in Du Page County and in the Village of Lombard before September 2, 1993, when I was employed by Carmen Alonso Kenny & Associates as a Certified Legal Interpreter and Translator for Du Page County Arbitration Center for Workers’ Compensation, Traffic Court at 421 North County Farm Road and the 18th Judicial Circuit Court at 505 North County Farm Road in the City of Wheaton. I also worked at the old courthouse in Geneva, and the new courthouse in St. Charles for the Kane County Judicial Center, including Batavia. Plus, I was assigned interpreting and translation in Elgin and Joliet in Will County; as well as court-appointed legal interpreting in Waukegan, Lake County, and in Woodstock, McHenry County, and beyond to LaSalle County, and DeKalb, in Illinois. For more than twenty (20) years, I have been a commissioned Illinois Notary Public for Cook County first, then for Du Page County by the Illinois Secretary of State and the County Clerk’s Office.
While reading the Chicago Tribune, I found out that Interlate Systems Inc. and Pan Blanco in Elgin, Aurora, and Batavia, owned by Brad White, a former College of Du Page employee who was hiring a Certified Interpreter and Translator in English, Spanish, French, and Portuguese. I was interviewed and hired as a Certified Legal Interpreter and Translator by Jacquie Guiter and Rene Hofsteder at the Interlate Systems Inc. office which was located in Elgin Downtown, along Route 30, not far from the Elgin Police Station.
Before and after I got married to Nathan Scott Wittler Patriquin, I was working full-time, free-lance, and part-time on different jobs, occupations, and business sectors in the City of Chicago, Cook County, and outlaying suburbs of Du Page County, Kane County, Lake County, Will County, McHenry County, LaSalle County, DeKalb, and at my home business office.
In addition, I was working for Berlitz Schools at 2 North LaSalle Street in the City of Chicago with Milanka who was the Berlitz Method Trainer, Josepha and June, the receptionist. Then, I was assigned by Berlitz to teach for Beth, the Director, upon assignments from Sally at the Water Tower Place across from the John Hancock Center. Afterwards, Beth moved the Berlitz office to Hinsdale and later opened another Berlitz school in Oak Brook, Du Page County, Illinois USA. Beth at Berlitz assigned me to teach Berlitz Junior at the Butler Middle School on York Road, across from the Oak Brook Country Club and also at Brook Forest Elementary School, along 31st Street in Du Page County, Illinois USA.
After my Father, Mr. Roberto Hung purchased the Lombard Historic Brick Bungalow at 502 South Westmore-Meyers Road and Washington Boulevard, I was driving to and from work upon assignment for Certified Legal Interpreting and Translation, Teaching, Cross-Cultural Training, Consulting Language Social Media jobs for clients, Marketing Localization for AIM Translations managed by Karen in Bloomingdale, and other language work for Business Access Translation managed by Rosa Ridderbusch in Zurich, Illinois.
While I was working all day during mornings, afternoon, and evenings, Nathan Scott Wittler Patriquin and my Father, Mr. Roberto Hung, allowed intruders to roam, ransack, steal, and scatter business documents, a community certificate from the Chinese American Service League, personal belongings, an 18 Karat Gold Bracelet which has been heirloom jewelry that my Grandmother and family had given to me, fashion clothing, intimate apparel, and miscellaneous business and teaching resources which have been stolen and removed from my personal use by the Lombard Police Department and the Illinois Court Houses in Du Page County, Cook County, and other places in the Chicagoland area. I have even lost my Minolta Camera Flash, JVC Digital Film Cassettes, and other teaching media from my work environment after I moved to the Village of Lombard on September 2, 1993.
I have also lost two (2) Tennis Rackets and Tennis Balls, a Tachikara Volleyball, Golfsmith Putting Golf Club, Golf Shoes, Golf Balls, and many other valuables which have been stolen from my Lombard home, allowed by the Lombard Police Department in District 5, York Township, Du Page County, Illinois USA.
In 1992, my Mother Mrs. Gardenia Fong Ramos and my youngest brother Robert S. Hung with his boyfriend Paul Rathe purchased a Lombard home with homeowners’ credit and a cash down deposit of $10,000 given by my Father Mr. Roberto Hung from his IRA retirement funds. Then, they moved to the Lilac Town with a Pomeranian dog near Sunset Knolls Park District on Finley Road, Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Elizabeth Street, and Lilacia Park near Main Street in the Village of Lombard, Du Page County, Illinois USA. Randy Stob is the Lombard realtor who sold my brother Robert the real estate property in Du Page County and deliberately set out to bring the rest of the family of Mr. Roberto Hung Juris Doctor, his Daughter, and Husband to buy a Lombard home in Du Page County, Illinois.
When Paul Rathe, a young urban gay who lived on Roscoe Street near Halsted Street, Boys Town and Lakeview in Chicago, convinced my youngest brother and mother to buy a Lombard home and move to the western suburbs in Du Page County during 1992, he did not tell them that buying Lombard real estate would cause chronic health and medical problems for them, long-term disease, psychiatric problems, violence against women, assault, physical abuse, biomedical and bio-sexual transgendered studies, hospitalizations, traumatic brain injuries, head concussions, tragedy, family death, and abuse of human rights in housing under the law in York Township, Illinois, USA.
Paul Rathe introduced my brother and mother to Baird & Warner realtor Paulette Weininger who found a Lombard home for them at 342 West Harrison Street near Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Elizabeth Street, Finley Road and Main Street close to Walgreens, near the Du Page County Crisis Unit, a Medical Group Practice located at 440 South Finley Road and Washington Blvd. in the Village of Lombard, Illinois 60148 USA. Linda Schuster who lived in Westmont was the girlfriend of Paul Rathe who referred my brother and mother to buy a house in Village of Lombard, also known as Lilac Town for the annual Lilac Parade celebration near Main Street in Spring time.
Randy Stob, the Lombard realtor who sold them the real estate property at 342 West Harrison Street near Elizabeth Street and Finley Road, began to encourage my brother Robert S. Hung and my Mother to bring other people in the family, to include her Daughter with her father and husband to buy Lombard real estate property in Du Page County, Illinois USA.
Since my Mother and Brother purchased Lombard real estate property from the same Lombard realtor, I have been kidnapped four (4) times during the course of employment and from my Lombard home in District 5, York Township, Du Page County, upon return from working by friends of the Lombard realtor and his associates in the Du Page Realtors Association in Illinois USA.
I had already worked as a Certified Legal Interpreter and Translator in Wheaton, Geneva, Oak Brook in Du Page County, as well as St. Charles, Batavia, Elgin, Aurora in Kane County, and DeKalb, Illinois.
During June 1993, Mr. Roberto Hung started looking to purchase real estate property for a home in Du Page County near my brother and mother in Lombard, Illinois. After my Father, myself, and my husband purchased a historic Lombard Brick Bungalow at 502 South Westmore Avenue and Washington Boulevard, near Saint Pius X Catholic Church, we began to invite and entertain family and friends at our Lombard home in District 5, Du Page County, Illinois USA. During April 1994 and Lilac Time, the family of Mr. Roberto Hung Juris Doctor entertained and hosted Nathan S. Wittler’s retired Christian missionary parents, Reverend Melvin A. Wittler and Mrs. Nancy Wittler Patriquin who were travelling in the Chicago area and the United States on furlough from Istanbul, Turkey, in the Middle East.
In addition, my Mother’s youngest sister, Mrs. Xiomara Fong Ramos de Zayas from Santiago de Cuba, was invited to visit the Village of Lombard for six (6) months to stay with her oldest sister whom she had not seen in more than twenty (20) years—our family had left Cuba during the Catholic Freedom Flights and arrived in Miami, Florida on July 19, 1971. My parents, Mr. Roberto Hung and Mother Mrs. Gardenia Fong Ramos, chose to relocate to Chicago, Illinois sponsored by Catholic Charities.
After my Mother’s sister, Aunt Xiomara Fong Ramos de Zayas, visited the Village of Lombard in 1994, I was kidnapped after I completed an interpreting assignment for Interlate Systems Inc. in Aurora, Kane County, Illinois USA. I was working as a Certified Legal Interpreter and Translator, also as commissioned Illinois Notary Public for more than twenty (20) years, working with Action Translation Bureau managed by Joseph Raudonis in Palos Heights, Carmen Kenny & Associates in Arlington Heights, Interlate Systems Inc. in Elgin and Batavia, Kane County, and other translation agencies affiliated to the Chicago Area Translators Association (CHICATA) and the American Translators Association (ATA) under the aegis of the Federation of International Translators (FIT).
My name is Gardenia C. Hung, estranged spouse of Nathan Scott Wittler Patriquin, DOB December 27, 1958, Age 55 years old, eldest daughter of the late Mr. Roberto Hung Juris Doctor and his surviving widow Mrs. Gardenia Fong Ramos, DOB February 2, 1938, a disabled, retired senior citizen, 76 years of age, who was transferred from Elmhurst Memorial Hospital during the year 2006 to the Chicagoland area unbeknown to me, her first daughter who is a Lombard resident homeowner and was living at 502 South Westmore Avenue and Washington Boulevard in District 5, York Township, Du Page County, Illinois 60148-3028 USA.
Eight (8) years have passed since I last saw my Mother, Mrs. Gardenia Fong Ramos, who is now a disabled senior citizen living on the north side of Chicago, 48th Democratic Ward, in the Edgewater neighborhood, near Loyola University, Lake Shore Campus by Lake Michigan, Illinois USA.
I am a Lombard resident homeowner and Catholic parishioner near St. Pius X Catholic Church, who was helping my Mother Mrs. Gardenia Fong Ramos, widow of the late Mr. Roberto Hung Juris Doctor, after her forced hospitalization to the Psychiatric Ward in the care of Dr. McKenna and Social Worker Tilary at Illinois Masonic Medical Center by Jim Wilbrot, Sally, Timothy Tromasina, James and his friends in Oak Park, who committed her with the Chicago Police Department on Addison Street near Halsted Street , In the Lakeview and Boys’ Town neighborhoods during 2005.
I have not seen My Mother since January 12, 2006 when I found her injured at our Lombard Brick Bungalow, 502 South Westmore-Meyers Road and Washington Boulevard, across Mrs. Shimek’s green home and Robyn’s brick brownstone.
Eight (8) years have passed since the Du Page County Clerk Gary King told me that my Mother was dead, but I did not believe him when I replied that my Mother was not dead. Du Page County and Cook County Social Workers and other medical facilities in Illinois have not contacted me as my Mother’s daughter and next-of-kin family member, even when my Mother was staying with me as a Lombard resident during November and December 2005, and January 2006.

“Where is the JVC Digital Mini-Cassette Video File For The Stained Glass Windows at Navy Pier in Illinois?”
During 1999, fourteen (14) years ago, I discovered a treasure trove of stained glass windows and relics, while walking along Navy Pier at the Smith Museum of Stained Glass Windows. In order to preserve a digital memory of my findings, I video recorded my stained glass visions on my JVC digital cybercamera in a mini-cassette digital video file. While video-editing on my Packard Bell computer, I left the JVC mini-cassette digital video file on my second floor Home Office desk at 502 South Westmore-Meyers Road and Washington Boulevard which used to be my Father’s business office before he was murdered at Vencor Northlake Hospital on June 18, 1998. Since I have been victimized by repeated and deliberate home invasions as a Lombard resident homeowner, intruders and trespassers in my Home Business Office stole my JVC digital mini-cassette video file featuring religious and secular stained windows at the Smith Museum Navy Pier by Lake Michigan in Illinois USA. Many years have passes since then, while I still remember the missing JVC mini-cassette digital video file containing stained glass images from the Smith Museum.
Last week, I had another chance to wander around Navy Pier and walked right into the Smith Museum of Stained Glass Windows once again, featuring other stained glass masterpieces and treasures from the past, present, and future craftsmen in the Chicagoland area and around the world.
The Smith Museum of Stained Glass Windows at Navy Pier by Lake Michigan in Illinois is the only museum in the United States dedicated specifically for stained glass windows. The following is a virtual description of the stained windows featured on site.
The Smith Museum of Stained Glass Windows is a permanent display of 150 stained glass windows housed in an 800-ft.-long series of galleries along the lower level terraces of Festival Hall. Open since February 2000, it is the first museum in the United States dedicated solely to stained glass windows. It showcases both secular and religious windows and is divided by artistic theme into four categories: Victorian, Prairie, Modern and Contemporary. All of the windows were designed by prominent local, national and European studios and most were originally installed in Chicago area residential, commercial and religious buildings.
The windows provide unique insight into Chicago’s cultural, ethnic and artistic history. The time period they represent, 1870 to the present, was an era of intense urban revision that featured the development, decline and revitalization of neighborhoods, the development of commercial and cultural institutions, the evolution of artistic styles and the response of various ethnic groups to these changes. The religious windows reveal the national and ethnic styles of Chicago’s European immigrants, while the residential windows display the history of architecture and decorative art styles. Well-known artists’ windows on display include Louis Comfort Tiffany and John LaFarge, as well as Chicago artists Ed Paschke and Roger Brown. The museum also presents unique contemporary pieces including stained glass portraits of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., and Michael Jordan and a window created from soda pop bottles.
The Richard H. Driehaus Gallery of Stained Glass is also featured within the Smith Museum of Stained Glass Windows. This extraordinary collection features 13 windows that highlight the work of Louis Comfort Tiffany and his workshop from 1890-1930.
All 13 windows come from Tiffany’s studio in New York City, and he specifically designed most of the stained glass. Tiffany first began experimenting with glass art in 1873. He opened the Tiffany Glass Company in 1885; it then became the Tiffany Glass and Decorating Company and later Tiffany Studios. After designing hundreds of beautiful windows for churches, public buildings and homes of his wealthy clients, Tiffany became one of the most well-known glass designers in the United States, and his reputation for experimentation in stained glass techniques and originality in design is unsurpassed.
Stained Glass Window: The Tiffany windows in the Driehaus Gallery, some of which are pairs or triptychs, are showcased in an enclosed, dark area and lit with artificial light. This theatrical atmosphere gives visitors the opportunity to view the windows in the most vivid setting possible. Each window in this exhibition incorporates several types of glass crafted from various techniques, including drapery, opalescent, etched and enameled glass. The glass plates are held in place by copper foil and lead, which support the windows and make them durable and weather resistant. The relationship between the different colors, the densities of layers and the techniques applied combine to create extraordinary luminescence and vibrancy of color and detail. Among the windows featured in the gallery are:
Rapelye Memorial – St. John’s Episcopal Church, New Jersey. Religious windows, especially memorial windows, were the cornerstones of Louis Comfort Tiffany’s stained glass business. Although clients often requested figural windows, Tiffany preferred floral and landscape themes for memorial windows. He felt these themes drew their inspiration directly from the Creator. Poppies represent the Resurrection and passionflowers symbolize the Crucifixion of Christ.
Girl with Cherry Blossoms – probably commissioned for a private home. Private clients occasionally requested portraits of their loved ones. In this window, the figure is not identified but is likely the portrait of a client’s daughter. Tiffany avoided use of enamels in his windows, with the exception of painted faces, hands and feet.
Stained Glass Window: The Annunciation – probably commissioned for a church. As an artist, Tiffany’s use of perspective and selection of glass added to the theatrical quality of the window. In this diptych of the Annunciation, note the use of milky white glass that covers much of the composition. When the window is backlit, the image is softened, giving a sense of depth to the architecture and drama to the scene. When the light is turned off, the viewer only sees the milky white layer.
The Richard H. Driehaus Gallery of Stained Glass is representative of Driehaus’ collection of both religious and secular windows, which he has accumulated over the past 25 years. This is the first public exhibition focused on his private collection.

In hot weather, mosquitoes larvae fester and grow deep in the forest bogs, ponds, rivers, lakes, swamps, and infested stagnant waters of the Earth’s continents in the Americas, Africa, Australia, Asia, and Europe. Mosquito species Aedes Aegypti vector for Yellow Fever is synonymous with the Culex Pipien Mosquito known to transmit West Nile Virus (WNV) as a vector carrier of neurological invasive diseases such as yellow fever, encephalitis or meningitis, West Nile poliomyelitis with headache, high hemorrhagic fever, convulsions, neck stiffness, paralysis, coma, jaundice, and final death for individuals with compromised immunodefiency like heart transplant recipients, cancer patients, and others at the highest risk for illness and death. In the Midwest, “the highest incidence of West Nile Virus disease occurred in residents of DuPage County, Illinois resulting in 5.1 cases or more per 100,000 residents,” according to statistics from the Illinois Department of Health, J. Yoder, L. Haramis, M. Dworkin (2005).
In the 19th century, Dr. Carlos J. Finlay, M.D., Surgeon General in Cuba, was awarded the UNESCO Prize for Microbiology in Researching Yellow Fever, identifying the mosquito Aedes Aegypti as a vector transmitting infectious disease to develop vaccination, treatment, prevention and control of the acute viral hemorrhagic disease also known as Dengue.
Yellow fever originated in Africa where the primates, monkeys are hosts to the virus which is transmitted to others by the mosquitoes. According to historians, yellow fever was imported to the Americas by the “slave trade” in the 16th century during the 1500’s. Later in the 17th century, there were epidemics of yellow fever documented in the Americas, Africa, and Europe. During the lifetime of Dr. Carlos J. Finlay, M.D., yellow fever was considered one of the most dangerous and infectious diseases of the century. Dr. Finlay in Cuba succeeded in finding a cure to treat and prevent yellow fever. Now in the 21st century, there is a vaccine against yellow fever and the West Nile Virus.
Prevention involve intensive annual Mosquito abatement and control programs which include spraying insecticide by trucks, larviciding, draining standing and stagnant waters around the western suburbs of DuPage County in Illinois, USA.
Last year, the Village of Lombard did not use insecticide truck-spraying control to exterminate the growing swarms of Culex Pipien mosquitoes festering in the DuPage Forest Preserve along the Salt Creek and the DuPage River tributaries, the bogs, innumerable man-made water holes, standing and stagnant waters in the western suburbs and Lilac Town in Illinois, USA.
According to the World Health Organization (WHO), yellow fever causes 200,000 related illnesses and 30,000 or more deaths every year for unvaccinated communities in Africa.
Other places like DuPage County and the Village of Lombard in Illinois suffer annually from the spread of the West Nile Virus by the mosquito Culex Pipien in the Midwest, USA in North America during hot summers resembling tropical and subtropical weather regions.

Fifty-four (54) years ago, I was born the first daughter of Mr. Roberto Hung Juris Doctor and his wife Mrs. Gardenia Fong Ramos, in the historic city of Santiago de Cuba founded by Spaniards, at the private Spanish Clinic of Los Angeles known today as Mariana Grajales Hospital, near the University of Oriente where my Father worked as an attorney, professor and chairman of the department of business law and economics and my Mother taught Education courses for teachers trained in literacy education for Cuba. The Municipal City of Santiago de Cuba Town Hall where my father worked as a judge and attorney was also located near the private Spanish Clinic of Los Angeles in Santiago de Cuba, one of the first and oldest cities in the Americas, designated as a World Heritage Center by UNESCO. Since both my parents spoke Spanish, English, and French, I was encouraged to learn other languages while I was growing up and during my early visits to the University of Oriente, among my parents’ colleagues, associates, friends, and visitors who also spoke French, Chinese, Italian, Portuguese, German, and other world languages.
My Father’s friends were all educated and professional translators and interpreters, well versed in Castilian Spanish from Spain and its regional provinces of Galicia, Castilla, La Mancha, Catalunya, etc., as well as in English from Commonwealth including England, Hong Kong, Canada, Jamaica, and American English from the United States of America. My Father had studied at the University of Oriente, the University of La Habana, the University Nacional Autónoma de México in Mexico City, D.F. In addition, my Father had also visited Washington D.C. in the United States for his professional accreditation and legal research studies in Cuba, U.S.A., México, London, England in the United Kingdom, Spain, France, Belgium and Switzerland in Europe.
The famous Gregory Rabassa who translated the literary work “One Hundred Years of Solitude” by Gabriel García Márquez, the Colombian Nobel Prize author, lived and visited in La Habana and Santiago de Cuba, Cuba.
My parents’ colleagues, associates, and friends encouraged me to say words in other languages by teaching me to interpret what they were saying to me and repeating phrases from Spanish into other foreign languages. They decided that I could actually speak, read, and write Spanish well, so that I could learn other languages also to become a language interpreter and translator in English, French, Portuguese and other foreign languages. At that time, the United Nations was very popular around the world and in Cuba. In addition, the American Translators Association was established in 1958 in Virginia, U.S.A. They ought to have advised me about the risks and perils that interpreters and translators experience in their lifetime and during the course of employment, especially in the Great Lakes area by Lake Michigan Great Lakes Naval Base, Lake Huron, Lake Erie, Lake Ontario, Lake Superior in the Midwest of the United States, and in the western suburbs of the Chicagoland area as far as Du Page County, Kane County, and Will County, Illinois U.S.A. Family friends from the Great Lakes Naval Base and the U.S. Navy in Virginia, encouraged both my parents to immigrate to the United States of America with their sponsorship via Catholic Charities and the Cuban-American Freedom Flights from La Habana to Miami, Florida where our families lived already. My Aunt Consuelo Fonseca and her husband Guillermo Fonseca had already established their own Cuban family lifestyle in Miami, Florida. Also my Uncle Miguel Hung, his wife Silvia “Bebita” Hung-Simons, her daughter Olivia, son Miguel, son Santiago and son Raymundo “Ray” Hung-Simons, also lived in Miami, Florida, USA. However, my parents decided to emigrate to the Midwest by the Great Lakes areas surrounding Lake Michigan, in Chicago, Illinois where my Father’s cousin Fernando Wong, his wife Yoland Wong Fen, his daughter Sueling, son Fernando, and daughter Meiling lived on Howard Street, North Shore, near Skokie, Illinois in the USA.
Forty-one (41) years ago, while my Mother was studying at Loyola University for her Master of Arts in Spanish Spanish Literature with Dr. Martinez and Dr. Luján, I was reading and translating her books from Spanish into English during her evening classes at Loyola Lewis Tower by Michigan Avenue and Chicago, Illinois USA. Also, I could read and speak from her Portuguese course records. Since I had already started learning English as A Second Language at Avondale Elementary Grammar School on the Northwest side of Chicago with Miss Pantos (Mrs. Kardos), Miss Honeywood, and Mr. Herb Hebel, I followed up with course records in Spanish, French, and Portuguese. Three years later, I enrolled in French classes at Madonna High School with Pat D’Andrea and Mrs. Francis Salvato until 1977 when I graduated from high school with English and Literature from Sister Christine, Sr. Jude, and Mrs. Barbara Davidson for High Honors in Speech, Reading, Writing, and Communications. Madonna High School shows my course records to be at the tenth (10%) per centile of the graduating alumnae for the National Honor Society and the French National Honor Society.
Thirty (30) years ago, I attended Northeastern Illinois University (NEIU) where I began to work as a Student Aide at the Financial Aid Department with Mrs. Annette Cohn for the Illinois Veterans Administration Scholarship sponsored by the GI Bill, managed with Shirley Levin, Angie Pappas at the Reception Desk, Marie Liszewski, Marilyn Kuhn, George A. West, Frank Solano, Kathy Crane, and other student aides, staff, and Civil Service employees on the B-Wing of the NEIU Campus. I was assigned to work with Angie Pappas, the Secretary at the Reception Desk by the front door, in order to provide other commuter students with information about the Pell Grant and Illinois Guaranteed Loans, Illinois State Scholarships, and other financial aid assistance to study at Northeastern Illinois University in English and Spanish in person, by telephone, and via U.S. Mail. I became proficient as a bilingual speaker for community students who spoke English and Spanish at Northeastern Illinois University, 5500 North St. Louis Avenue, Chicago, Illinois 60625 USA. I was interpreting and translating for the Financial Aid Department at NEIU for the next five (5) years while I studied for a Bachelor of Arts degree in English, Spanish, French, Secondary Education, Journalism, Speech, Communications, Linguistics, Athletics, Dance, and other cross-disciplinary studies from 1977 through 1982.
During 1982, I met Maureen Mueller at Northeastern Illinois University, where she was also studying Spanish in the same courses for a Bachelor of Arts degree. Maureen Mueller worked at Trans-Lingual, Inc. as secretary for the professional business language and translation agency. I applied at Trans-Lingual, Inc. and was hired to teach English, Spanish, and French, as well as to translate and interpret into English, Spanish, and French after attending NEIU during the day—I was working more than one job to pay for my college education, commuting expenses, travel to Laval University at the Ville de Québec in Canada, as well as family household expenses at home.
In the Summer of 1982, I travelled to Laval University after I was awarded the French-Canadian Summer Immersion Scholarship to study during June, July, and early August while I lived in Ville de Québec on campus to immerse, acculturate, assimilate fully in the use and practice of the French language and culture by French-Canadians in Montréal, Ville de Québec, Trois Rivières, Bay de Gaspé, the Laurentian Mountains known as Les Laurentides in the Canadian province of Québec at the University of Laval, the oldest university in North America since its foundation in the 1700s. I remember travelling and singing with Québecois Suzanne Faguy and other French-Canadian co-educational college students at Laval University in Ville de Québec, Canada during the Summer of 1982. While I was studying at Northeastern Illinois University from September 1977 through 1982 with Professor Dorette Klein, I was awarded the Laval University French Summer Immersion Scholarship, Université Laval Bourse d’Eté while living in residence on campus at the Ville de Québec, Canada. In the Spring of 1981, while I was Vice-President of the French Club, while Bruno was the President, I had travelled to Montréal, Ville de Québec, Canada with Professor Dorette Klein and the French Club from Northeastern Illinois University at 5500 North St. Louis, Chicago, Illinois 60625 USA. I was also interpreting and translating from English into French.
Mid-August 1982 I was still in the Ville de Québec, Canada from where I travelled by airplane to Calgary, Alberta to meet with Benjamin “Ben” Wolf, a Northeastern Illinois University college friend who was planning to visit and camp out in the Canadian Rocky Mountains near Lake Louise and Château Louise in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
In the Fall of 1982, I was enrolled with Dr. Rosalyn O’Cherony, Dr. Bonnie Busse, and Dr. Albert Milanesi at Northeastern Illinois University for Student Teaching at Lincoln Park Middle School, Grades 6th, 7th, and 8th, as well as for Lincoln Park High School with Master Teachers Maureen Dolan and Maureen Green. I had already worked with Master Teacher Himilse Badell who taught at LaSalle Academy Magnet School for the Chicago Public Schools in Illinois USA.
By 1982, I was already speaking American English, understanding Canadian French, and of course, Spanish with Dr. Angelina Pedroso, Dr. Eduardo Pantigoso, Dr. Vicki Nájera, Dr. Rodriguez, and French with Dr. Albert Milanesi, Professor Dorette Klein, and Linguistics Professor Tom Richardson, Ph.D. and basic Portuguese at the NEIU Foreign Languages Division headed by Dr. Bruno Galassi who had been my professor for basic Italian I.

Greetings during August 9, 2012. My name is Gardenia C. Hung (Wittler), a Lombard resident homeowner, U.S. citizen, and Illinois Victim of Heinous Hate Crimes and Violence Against Women since 1994, after purchasing Lombard real estate property at 502 South Westmore-Meyers Road and Washington Boulevard where I established professional business communications services for legal, medical, and technical interpreting and translation services for a privately owned company under sole proprietorship called Communications, Languages&Culture;, Inc. Twenty-two years later, Diplomatic Language Services DC has relocated to 1901 Fort Myer Drive #600, 6th Floor, in Arlington, Virginia 22209-1604 USA. When I interpreted and translated for Diplomatic Language Services (DLS) and Elizabeth Degnan in 1990, I was assigned to the Everett McKinley Dirksen Federal Building, 219 South Dearborn St. in Chicago, at the Federal Bureau of Investigation office which used to be there under a Special Agent in Charge for Chicago telephone wiring operations involving other special agents for ATF, CIA, and the Chicago Police Department, a retired Hispanic policeman called Pablo, investigating suspicious operations in Steger, Momence, and Mokena, Illinois, including border patrol agents from Brownsville, Texas, and Broadview, Illinois. There were six (6) Special Agents in Charge Polish, Mexican, Puerto Rican, Texan, and two (2) interpreters to log-in telephone wiring activities for Chicago, Steger, Momence, and Mokena, Illinois. In addition, I worked with Elizabeth Degnan at DLS transcribing Spanish cassette tape recordings into English which were mailed and faxed upon completion. I have been severely abused and physically injured as a Lombard Victim of Heinous Hate Crimes after I worked with the Federal Bureau of Investigation and Diplomatic Language Services doing certified interpreting and translation assignments on-site. In addition, U.S. Cellular has been intercepting, blocking, and interrupting wireless mobile telephone and internet network services during the year 2011-2012 while removing essential Contacts information, overbilling and overcharging for Carnival Cruise Mobile Marketing from the Bahamas, Jamaica, Haiti, and Puerto Rico from operatives and predatory cybercriminals. While I have been legally married to Nathan Scott Wittler (Patriquin), I have suffered from several kidnappings, physical abuse, sexual assault, torture by burning with fire on my finger tips over a flame and also by injection to my neck and body while I was sleeping in the Master Bedroom at home, 502 S. Westmore-Meyers Road in Lombard, personal injury, head concussions from a severe blow to the head while kidnapped and abused, persecution by cars following me on my way to work and employment, automobile accidents from vandalism and sabotage of my motor vehicles overnight and after midnight by intruders, vandals, and criminals in the Lombard garage, Du Page County, Illinois USA. When a patient is kidnapped against will and hit on the head to cause a concussion, memory loss, and undetermined unconsciousness, then the Emergency Room has an Alias Unknown person who cannot be identified by name without a legal identification card or a driver’s license. Sometimes patients become lost and lose their birth- given identities in Illinois. Other times, hospitals, clinics, and health-care facilities change an individual’s name by misspelling, negligence in medical services, or simply by ignorance on the part of healthcare providers and first responders like paramedics, emergency medical services (EMS), fire fighters, law enforcement personnel.
Alias Unknown Victims of Crime can perish without their birth names to become “John Doe” or “Jane Doe”. Other Alias Unknown Abused Victims cannot speak while unconscious after being throttled, knocked down by a severe hit to the head with a blunt object, or injected with a hypodermic needle and mind-blocking drugs so that the victims cannot identify abusers, predators, criminals or medical staff providers who have also abused the victims while unconscious and physically injured to prevent justice to take place.
Alias Unknown Victims of Crimes never appear before a Judge because they have been denied Victims of Crimes Rights in Illinois.
