The year 2012 started with a lot of expectations, plans, forecasts, and prophecies in the new millennium.  No one imagined that the same year 2012 would bring so many surprises and unexpected sudden changes within the year and at the turn-of-the-century around locally, globally, and universally.

During 2012, virtual reality transformed Social Media into a digital mobile community with Facebook, Linkedin, and Constant Contact. Many people entered the Chicago City Treasurer’s Small Business Online Marketing Contest with Constant Contact Regional Director Steve Robinson, Linkedin J.D. Gershbein for Owlish Communications, and Facebook supporters Tracy Samantha Schmidt for the Chicago Tribune and Rachel Taylor for Simply Social at the Chicago Cultural Center.
