The Edgewater Village emailed invitations for the monthly Social Luncheon Meeting
at Moody’s Pub on Wednesday, 28 June 2017, across from the Broadway Armory Park. The invitation was open and required a return response RSVP, "Répondez s’il vous plait", in order to have the number of persons interested in attending the Edgewater Village Social Luncheon today. Debbie wanted to attend this Edgewater Village Social Luncheon after the regular Senior Golden Diner Lunch at the Senior Center today. When she reminded me about this social gathering, I told I would go with her, in spite of the heavy rain showers. I went to get my purple umbrella to protect Debbie and me from the sultry summer rain under the deep purple umbrella.

After Debbie and I walked across Broadway, towards Moody’s Pub, the distance decreased and the social luncheon became a real event, not just an email invitation. Amazingly, there were more people seated at the tables than was expected. Ginger was pleasantly surprised. Some people had decided to attend this event who had not responded by email–more tables were pulled up to join the other Edgewater Village people already seated at the table. There were more people to come as the time drew near the meeting.

It was a good reason to meet at Moody’s Pub with the Edgewater Village on Wednesday, 28 June 2017, 12PM to 2PM, before the Independence Day Holiday.
